A meandering series of meditations around themes including limerence, troubled or unrequited love, and the suspended and fantasmatic inbetweenness that occurs from these states of destabilization or shaky anchors.
On the text generation process:
Using SpaCy (a natural language processing library) to process a corpus of text pulled from Roland Barthes’ A Lover’s Discourse, we split the text into different parts of speech and generatively reassembled new sentences using a Tracery grammar. Output were cherry picked and composed into the text that writes to the home screen, and also acts as a navigation menu.
